My first love is architecture, a passion I turned into my business photographing and filming amazing architectural projects from the ground up. I trained in the days of the darkroom, apprenticed aged 17 to an industrial photographer, honing my skills until 2002 when I formed McAteer Photograph on the key principle that we create high-end images at a realistic cost – this still holds true today. But it’s not just architectural photography I do. I’m very fortunate to undertake a broad scope of commissions and I’m obsessive about ensuring I get outstanding shots in every shoot. Every day is different and I enjoy nothing better than collaboration with genuinely talented innovators, free thinkers and creative risk-takers whose vision I can interpret, capture and present in my own unique way.
