About the project
Our brief for this architectural shoot was to sell the unique location of this iconic Glasgow landmark at Charing Cross. As there are not many buildings in Glasgow with such a striking view, we were asked to create a day to night panorama showing the cityscape as seen from the top of the building. This involved multiple visits at different times of the day, accessing the roof’s turret (with full risk assessment and ppe) and taking precise measurements in order to achieve the same view every time for each shoot.
In the studio, we stitched the images together and employed additional advanced post production techniques. The resulting panorama is a striking image showing a view of Glasgow taking in the M8 motorway, panning across to the west end and reading left to right, day into night.
