About the project
Maguires ad agency asked us to head down south for this shoot for Babcock Rail. Our brief was to create a collection of documentary stills to show candid views of men at work and the precise process of renewing rail lines. To avoid disruption of Babcock Rail’s production schedule, the shoot took place over two days of extremely wet and inclement weather at two locations which were being upgraded: Kings Cross St Pancras and Peterborough.
Alan undertook site inductions at each location, donned specialist PPE gear and protected his equipment against the deluge. Despite the weather, a lovely collection of shots resulted which were well received by the client and used in internal and annual reports.
Oh, did we mention the rain?
